FAQ
Can you remove black stains from our roof? What causes the stains?
Stains are caused from gloeocapsa magma, an organism that feeds on the asphalt. We'll treat and kill it.
Will the black roof stains come back? After how long?
Yes they will. Pattern tells us anywhere from 3 - 5 years, depending on weather conditions, and trees above or around your home.
Do we need to remove our security cameras or our ring doorbell?
If you are able to, please do remove exterior electronics. If you are unable to, then cover them with a plastic bag and zip tie. We have never had an issue with exterior electronics because we don't stream water directly at them, but it's always best to have an extra level of protection.
Do we need to remove our window screens before you power wash?
For best results, yes. When screens remain in, the water and dirt get trapped.
Do you use our water, or do you bring water?
We use your water, but in certain circumstances we will bring water to the site. Circumstances include low water pressure, on a shallow well, or if water at site is turned off or non-existent.
What is the green stuff on our house?
That s algae or mold often caused by dirt, dust, and dew buildup on shaded sides of your property and is made worse by humidity and dampness. We can make that green stuff go away!
How long does it take for the algae to come back? Is there something you can put on the house to prevent it from returning?
Unfortunately, there isn't a chemical to ward off the algae. The pattern tells us cleaning should happen every 1 to 3 years, once again depending on weather conditions, trees, shady side of the home, etc.
Do you use hot water or cold water?
This depends on a variety of factors such as aluminium siding, oil spills, grease, level of dirtiness, etc. This all gets discussed at the first meeting.
Why do some people say soft wash and you say pressure wash? What's the difference?
Soft wash is low pressure water from the rig (Our pressure wash system). We have a manifold on our rigs to adjust from Low (soft) to high pressure (2-1/2 - 3 storys up, it's used for concrete, brick, retaining walls etc.)
Do we put down a deposit? How do we pay you?
No deposit unless it is for a large commercial job $8,000 and up. We won't accept any payments until the job is completed and the customer is happy. There are a couple ways to pay: CC online, check or cash- whatever your preferred way, we we will make it happen. It's all about convenience to you.
